Data Export

CoachingPortal does not currently offer bulk data export. It’s on the wishlist but not built yet.

What you can do today

While there’s no one-click export, your data is not locked away:

  • Coaches and clients keep full read access to their data inside the platform for as long as their account is active. You can read, copy, screenshot, or transcribe anything you can see in the app.
  • PDF export for meal plans is on the roadmap but not yet shipped.
  • You can cancel at any time without forfeiting access during your remaining billing period.

When data export ships

When bulk export becomes available, it will include:

  • Client roster and profile data (CSV / JSON)
  • Meal plans and exercise programs (JSON)
  • Check-in history per client (CSV / JSON)
  • Logged activity (meals, workouts, weigh-ins) per client
  • Coach notes
  • Messages

We don’t have a date for this yet. If you have a specific export need (e.g. moving off the platform, regulatory request, professional records), reach out to support and we’ll work with you on a manual extract in the meantime.

Account deletion

Account deletion is supported today — both coaches and clients can self-delete from in-app settings. Once confirmed, data is removed from active systems immediately and from backups within 30 days. See Security → Account deletion.

Right to portability

For users in jurisdictions with right-to-portability laws (GDPR, etc.), reach out to support@coachingportal.io to request a manual data extract. We’ll respond within the window required by the applicable law.
