Onboarding

When you accept your coach’s onboarding invitation via the magic link sent to your email, you will be guided through a 5-step Onboarding Wizard to set up your profile and provide your coach with essential starting information:

  1. Account Basics — Choose a password and verify your email address.
  2. Personal Information — Provide your basic details such as name, date of birth, biological sex, current height, and general health details.
  3. Physical Readiness (PAR-Q) — Answer seven standard physical readiness questions to ensure it is safe for you to begin or increase physical activity.
  4. Initial Goals & Metrics — Set up your starting weight, target weight, primary motivation, and details about your current activity level and goals. A lbs / kg toggle above the weight fields lets you enter your weights in whichever unit you’re used to — they’re converted automatically if your coach’s workspace uses the other system.
  5. Final Settings — Configure your notification preferences, integrate health tracking, and finalize your account setup.

Once onboarding is completed, you will be routed straight to your daily dashboard where you can start tracking!

Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)

The physical readiness step (Step 3) is a vital screening tool to ensure your safety:

  • Safety Questions: You will be asked seven standard physical readiness questions regarding heart conditions, chest pain, balance, joint issues, prescribed medications, and other health reasons.
  • Default Choices: All questions default to No for speed and ease of completion.
  • Flagging “Yes” Responses: If you toggle Yes for any question, the screen will highlight that response and display an important safety prompt:

[!WARNING] Answering “Yes” to any question means your coach will see this flag and may request medical clearance or tailor your activity plan to keep you safe.

  • Submission: Once finished, your responses are securely saved to your profile and shared directly with your coach.
