Habits
If your coach has set up habits for you, they appear on the Habits surface and often again inside your weekly check-in. Habits are simple recurring behaviors (for example “morning walk,” “8 hours sleep,” or “hit protein”) with a frequency target.
What you see
Each habit usually shows:
- Name and optional short description from your coach
- How often you should hit it (daily, weekly, or specific days)
- This week’s progress — days or times you’ve marked complete
Your coach chooses which habits apply to you. If you don’t see a Habits section, they haven’t assigned any yet — or they’re tracking those behaviors another way (for example custom check-in questions).
Logging
- Open Habits (or the habits section on your dashboard / check-in, depending on setup).
- Mark each day or occurrence as done when you complete it.
- Leave it unmarked if you skipped — incomplete days are part of the real picture your coach reviews.
Logging is meant to be quick. You don’t write long notes here; use Messages if you need to explain a rough week.
How it shows up for your coach
- Weekly habit completions roll into your check-in when that section is enabled.
- Longer trends (completion %, improving or declining weeks) appear on your Insights habits tab and on your coach’s client view.
Tips
- Mark habits the same day when you can — catch-up logging still helps, but same-day marks are easiest to remember.
- If a habit target feels wrong (too many days, wrong description), message your coach rather than inventing your own tracking outside the app.
- Self-coaching users manage their own habit list — see Self-coaching.
